In the Shape of a Heart

It was a ruby that she wore
On a chain around her neck
In the shape of a heart
In the shape of a heart...

It was a time I won't forget
For the sorrow and regret
In the shape of a heart
In the shape of a heart...

I guess I never knew
What she was talking about
I guess I never knew
What she was living without...

People speak of love don't know what their thinking of
Wait around for the one who fits just like a glove

Speak in terms of belief and belonging
Try to fit some name to their longing
People speak of love

That has to be one of my FAVOURITE Jackson Browne songs!  I didn't even get to the next verse!!!

This isn't a 'Valentine' wreath, its just a paper flower wreath IN THE SHAPE OF A HEART!!!

It was very easy to make...

Just shape your wire into a heart

I added a loop at the bottom to hang some blingity bling

Then I used my MS four petal flower paper punch and punched out lots and lots of flowers from old book pages.

Then I glued on silver and white glitter randomly.

Some I just glittered the edges, and some I left blank.  Do what ever you like.

Then I randomly hot glued the flowers on the wreath (hint: white glue does NOT work!).

I just hung a chandelier crystal from the bottom loop, but an old earing or beads would look equally pretty.  It was a fast and fun craft...perfect in front of Poirot with a glass of red wine...Truth is I need to give the glass to my husband so that he doesn't complain while I craft!
